I was born and raised in the very small town of Waupun, Wisconsin. In fact, the community was so rural it only had three stoplights. Growing up, I became interested in fitness from the early age of 13. I was a year-round hockey player and sported a skinny physique, weighing only 150 pounds. In order to remain competitive in the sport, I decided it was necessary to add size and strength, and subsequently had a family friend and hockey coach reach out to and work with me. For two years, he personally pushed me on a weekly basis, training me intensely and acting as a mentor. I will never be able thank my coach and friend, Brett, enough for his time!
I now reside in Orlando, Florida. I moved here to attend the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) development school and hone my skills, But I ended up having much more passion for Fitness/bodybuilding competition as a competitor and coach. And also helping others reach there health and fitness goals!
Currently, I work primarily as a personal trainer and fitness model. I am recognized as a certified personal trainer with the International Sports Science Association (ISSA), and I create tailored online nutrition and workout programs to ensure people achieve their goals and dreams! My hobbies largely involve the world of sports, namely hockey. I am a huge Detroit Red Wings fan, and I love the Green Bay Packers. In my free time, I love to play video games; one in particular: NHL. Over the course of the 8+ years, I have ranked in the top 10 of world for online —and yes, my friends make fun of me for it. But I enjoy kickin’ some butt on there, it helps me still connect with my hockey past!
Before I entered the sport of bodybuilding, I was very slim and lean (think classic ectomorph). In fact, I moved to New York City at the age of 18 for roughly four years to pursue fashion modeling. During my stint in the realm of fashion, I signed with a top agency, Soul Artist Management. Among the clients on my resume are Abercrombie, Hollister, Calvin Klein, Armani exchange, and other top brands. The move alone was life-changing, travelling from a rural town with three stoplights to the HUGE metropolis of New York! But the experience was invaluable. Along the way, I met some amazing people who opened many doors and it was one my greatest life occurrences to date.
What most inspires me is my Dad. He has always pushed me to be the best I can at anything I attempt. His philosophy, and one that I have adopted, is all or nothing. If you’re going to do something, no matter if it’s as basic as simple yard work or as intricate as competing in a contest or sport, do it right or don't do it at all! Give everything you have! Watching my father from the time I was an adolescent, I learned to work hard, to be consistent, and to NEVER give up. There is no greater blessing than having the fortune of being raised by your role model!
Lastly, if you have a chance to meet me, you will see I’m very outgoing, sarcastic, and goofy. I will make fun of myself just to get a laugh out of you! Don't ever be afraid to say hello! I always enjoy meeting new people and hearing their stories.
